How we started

Cooking has been a passion of mine since I was 7yrs old and I come from a long line of chefs in my family so cooking is in my blood. My parents were always working, so it was up to me to feed myself, as a child I started cooking simple dishes like beans and chorizo then experimented with other dishes as I got older. In 2007 right after high school, I went into Culinary  School and once I graduated I took my newfound knowledge and experience and started working for Wolfgang Puck Catering in Hollywood. It was during that time I confirmed catering was my passion. I started catering small events for family and friends and took on bartending as well as a way to learn the ins and outs of catering.  My business started to take off when my clients started to refer me to their friends and family and I have been busy ever since. 

With A.S. Gourmet Catering you will witness the love I have for food and detail. I work closely with every client to go over every detail for their event and ensure I am capturing their vision. From weddings, quinceñeras, birthday parties, and corporate events, I have done them all. I’ve catered intimate dinner parties of 10 to events with 500 guests. 

I pride myself on having a menu that is diverse and offers various types of cuisine. Whatever your food craving or vision may be for your event, my team and I are ready to prepare the perfect menu to bring to life and ensure you have a successful event!
